Blue Pelmet Skirt

One thing that is crucial to me when I’m picking an outfit, is comfort.

Because no matter how pretty something is, if it doesn’t feel right it’s not for me.

I was a bit hesitant to order this pelmet skirt online because I’ve never bought anything from River Island before. My main concern was the length, I was afraid it might be too short. When I went to their store in the Hague and looked for the skirt, I couldn’t find it. So after much thought, I went and I purchased it online along with this white cami, and this off the shoulder top. When I got the package at home I was thrilled. The material on this skirt is excellent quality, not too thick and not too thin. Basically, that makes it the perfect skirt to wear for spring, summer, and even early fall. The length is ideal for me, although if you’re shorter than 5’11 it might be a bit longer on you, which is even better. The first thing I loved about this skirt is the print. It’s absolutely gorgeous! I don’t wear a lot of prints, I tend to lean more towards solid colors. However when I find a cute print that I can wear many different ways I know it’s a winner.

If you want to stay on the safe side, prints with solid colors are the way to go.

That’s why I wore this pelmet skirt with a white cami top. I’m also going to try in yellow or black (you know how much I love black). Although I’m really trying to stay away from black so as to add more color to my closet. So prints and light colors are mostly what I’ve been purchasing lately. Let’s not forget it’s summer and there’s nothing better than bright and fun shades during warm and sunny days.
