Cherry Red Accents: The Only Color Trend That Matters This Fall

It can feel overwhelming to keep up with the color trends every season. Luckily for us, this fall one of my favorite colors is back. Burgundy or cherry red accents were trending last fall, and they’re in this fall again.

You don’t need a lot to make this work. A little pop of cherry red with an all black outfit, looks amazing. You can also pair it easily with navy, brown, or even olive green.

How to Add Cherry Red

A Cherry Red Bag: If you only buy one thing, make it a bag. A sleek crossbody or shoulder bag breaks up dark fall coats instantly.

Footwear: Red mary janes, loafers, or pointed boots give an outfit an effortless pop from the ground up.

Sleek Accessories: A leather belt, earrings, a silk scarf tied on your bag, or even just a swipe of deep red lipstick keeps it subtle without feeling like too much.

Statement Apparel: This trend is not limited to just accessories. A cherry red knit sweater, a sleek dress, or tailored trousers can serve as the main focal point when paired with neutrals.

Color Combinations That Work

Cherry Red + Navy or Black: Classic, and impossible to mess up.

Cherry Red + Espresso Brown: Warm, rich, and feels super fresh right now.

Cherry Red + Olive Green: A high-contrast pairing that still feels earthy for fall.
