Let’s talk about red lips and mostly how to get the perfect red lip, all the celebrities are rocking right now.
Red lips were something I was avoiding for a long time, I just never thought that red looks good on me. I was going for the safe option of using a clear gloss, or a nude lipstick (something I still like a lot) instead.
Recently I found a shade of red that I love, and I just can’t begin to tell you how good this lipstick looks on everyone. It’s a very classic red color, that magically makes your lips look bigger.
To get the perfect red lip, first I apply MAC Ruby Woo lip liner, then I use MAC Ruby Woo lipstick and on top – MAC Ruby Woo lip gloss. You can use the lipstick by itself, without a lip liner or lip gloss and it still looks pretty. The MAC Ruby Woo lipstick has a matte finish, which makes it a little harder to apply and leaves your lips dry. You can wear it by itself, but I prefer to add a lip gloss on top, it helps a lot with the dryness and it gives the right amount of gloss.
Another reason I use same lip liner and lip gloss is because this combo makes your lips look so much bigger. The perfect red lip is not only about the lipstick. You need to add a lip liner that will define your lips and a lip gloss on top, which will add shine and gloss, and that’s what makes all the magic. Your lips will look a lot bigger. Thank me later.
Tip: Exfoliate your lips before wearing a bright color like Ruby Woo. If you’re going to use the lipstick by itself and you don’t like the dryness, apply a bit a lip balm before applying the lipstick.
