Everyone is spending more time outside these days. Either to go on a walk or just to sit outside in the backyard. I don’t think I ever appreciated having a backyard as I do now. It’s probably the part of the house where we spent most of our time during the day. And with that in mind, I have some patio decor ideas that I want to implement in our backyard. Because I think that adding just a few pieces will make such a difference in our little space.
Right now, Liam’s toys take most of our backyard, but I’d like to create a relaxing area for myself too. Somewhere where I can sit down, have a glass of wine, read a book, or even take my laptop and do some work. On top of that, the weather has been so lovely lately. Sitting outside with Liam while he plays has been my favorite part of the day.
I’ve been seeing these teardrop style chairs everywhere and they look so comfy. I’d love to have one in the patio. And while I’m not a big fan of patterns when it comes to clothes, I love the geometric pattern on this outdoor rug. Never had an outdoor rug before but I feel that having one gives it a very cozy and homey look.
