Ice rolling has been a part of my skincare routine for many years now. It’s one of the easiest ways to depuff the face, tighten the skin, and overall great for the lymphatic system. In addition, it helps increase the blood flow and drain the fluid in the face due to not enough sleep, too much salt or wine the night before.
While I’m not someone who cleans her ice roller after each use, I clean it often. After all, it is a tool I use on my face. Here’s the easiest way to clean your ice roller.
HOW TO CLEAN YOUR ICE ROLLER
WHAT YOU NEED:
+ soap
HOW TO CLEAN:
- Grab a wet microfiber towel (I like these from Amazon. They’re affordable and work well to use as a makeup remover towel too).
- Add a few drops of soap.
- Wipe the handle of the ice roller and then wipe gently around the hinges.
- Rinse with water and then lay it flat to dry.
- Another way to can clean your ice roller is with cotton rounds and alcohol. Add some alcohol to the cotton rounds, then wipe all over your ice roller. Using alcohol will not only clean but disinfect the tool.
EXTRA TIPS:
If your ice roller is making a squeaky sound when you’re rolling it on your face, try adding a few drops of face oil at the hinges. It works like magic!
