Yes, You Need A Rose Face Mist This Summer

Face mists are quite popular in Korea. I read that women carry a mist in their purse and reapply it multiple times throughout the day.

To me, that makes perfect sense. Every morning I will apply my usual skincare routine, then a light foundation. However, midday when I feel some tightness in my skin, I will reach for my rose face mist. Since I have already applied makeup and skincare products earlier in the day, it doesn’t make sense to continue layering more products on top.

This is why I carry a face mist and spray it all over my face and neck to refresh, hydrate, and energize my skin.

If you want to get the most out of your rose face mist, you should use it after cleansing and before moisturizing. You basically want to apply your moisturizer while your skin is still damp. This way your moisturizer will get absorbed better from the skin. Also, check out the correct order to apply your skincare products.

5 REASONS TO USE A ROSE FACE MIST:

+ Rosewater has anti-inflammatory properties that help with redness, acne, eczema, and soothe sensitive skin.

+  I love the light and fresh smell.

+ Acts as a toner and reduces blotchiness.

+ Because of its antioxidant properties, rosewater face mist strengthen skin cells and regenerates skin tissues.

+ Hydrates and moisturizes the skin.

If you are wondering why you should add yet another product to your skincare routine? It seems like we already have so much to think about – cleansers, serums, spot treatments, moisturizers, sunscreen, etc. The list is endless. On top of that, now a rose face mist!

As I said, I use a mist to hydrate and freshen up my skin whenever I feel like my skin needs it. It also helps my makeup last longer and leaves this subtle, dewy glow.
