I’ve wanted to buy gladiator sandals for such a long time, and after seeing them everywhere, it made me want them even more.
About a month ago, my in-laws decided to organize a bon-voyage party for us (if you haven’t read my previous posts, catch up. So many exciting things happening! We’re moving to the Netherlands. Yay!). After I bought my dress, I ended up spending countless hours looking for the perfect pair of shoes. I mean, I was on a mission.
And quite frankly, the only shoes I had in my mind were gladiator sandals, that go all the way up my leg and right below my knees.
So after looking everywhere, I spotted a pair in Mango. So far so good, right? I went to order them and after I checked the shipping options, it said it’ll take 10-15 business days. Boo! The party was in less a week.
Luckily for me, my husband was traveling from Amsterdam to Los Angeles the following day, and his hotel just so happens to be by a Mango store. Talk about convenience! So it all ended up working out perfectly. He bought the sandals, brought them here and I got to wear them at the party. Yay!
These are literally the best gladiator sandals ever (pictured above). I like the really thin straps. Although, you do have to tie them up a little tighter so they don’t fall when you walk. They look very feminine. I also love the little zipper that runs up the back of the ankle, not too high and not too low. And the natural leather color goes great with almost anything. They also have them in black and white.
Is it just me, or gladiator sandals are the perfect shoes for summer? What do you think? They are cute, fun and chic.
