Amsterdam Light Festival 2016

January 4, 2016
light festival

If you happen to be in Amsterdam in the winter, make sure to check out the Amsterdam Light Festival. The Light Festival starts on November 28, 2015, and it runs until January 17, 2016. We went there on Christmas day and it was magical. The whole city completely transforms at night with all the beautiful artwork shown by international artists. All artwork is created with light in different shapes and colors. I wasn’t sure what the weather is going to be like, so I booked a boat tour and it was great. We arrived 30 minutes before taking off and had some mulled wine and Dutch snacks when we arrived.  The boat launched at 6.30 pm and ended at 7.30 pm taking us throughout Amsterdam via its many beautiful canals. Enjoy!

Oh my gosh! amsterdam is magnificent and the 3d photo sinks into my soul) You are stunning girl. As for me, i’ve visited Amsterdam about 2 years ago, btw, next travel use this http://vivaster.com/ Amsterdam is ripe for rambling, its compact core laced by atmospheric lanes and quarters. You never know what you’ll find: a hidden garden, a shop selling velvet ribbon, a jenever (Dutch gin) distillery, an old monastery-turned-classical-music-venue. Wherever you end up, it’s probably by a canal. And a café. And a gabled building that looks like a Golden Age painting. I’ve been biding my time for 2 years to visit it again, and i’m going to do it this summer)
