Flare jeans are having a moment. This classic denim style became popular in the 70s, and it’s been gaining even more popularity in recent years. I’m not surprised because the flare jeans’ silhouette is so flattering, and it elongates the legs as no other denim does. These jeans fit tighter around the bottoms, hips, and thighs and start to flare out around the knees.
Recently I bought 3 pairs, and I’ve been wearing them a lot with sandals, even sneakers. I can also see myself wearing them with boots in the fall. So yes, flare jeans are back in style, and below I’m sharing 8 different styles that you can try.
Flare Jeans Are Back In Style:
FRAME Le High Flare high-rise jeans
These dark-wash flare jeans are such a classic and essential pair. They fit true to size, and the high-rise style makes them very comfortable to wear.
Madewell The Perfect Vintage Flare Jean
The material on these Madewell jeans is more on the stiff side, there is some stretch in them but not a lot. I think the Delavan wash is a nice light-colored option which makes them perfect for the warmer months.
Gap High-Waisted Pop-Color Flare Jeans for Women
These are such a fun color to wear all year long with boots in the fall and winter, or with sandals and flats in the spring and summer, also at a great price point.
PAIGE Colette High Waist Raw Hem Crop Flare Jeans
The raw hem on these cropped flare jeans gives them a modern look, and the sky-blue color is so beautiful.
River Island Bum Sculpt Flared Jeans
You got me at “bum sculpted.” I love an off-white pair of pants and jeans, and these high-waisted flared jeans are so stylish.
Free People Gummy Pull-On Flare Leg Jeans
A pair of black flare jeans are perfect for fall and winter. Although I personally love wearing darker colors all year long. These pull-on jeans will look great with chunky boots, like these and these.
Joe’s Jeans The Hi Honey Bootcut Jeans
The slits are such an interesting detail on this white pair of flares, and it makes them look so stylish.
MOTHER The Super Cruiser Jeans
The material on these is not very stretchy, and it may feel that they take a bit longer to break in. I find that also that helps them keep their shape longer. I love the slight distressing throughout and the faded look.
