Apple Cider Vinegar Detox Drink Recipe

Lately, I’ve been making a quick drink in the morning – apple cider vinegar detox drink.  I’d prepare it once I wake up, mix everything in a large mason jar, add a reusable straw and drink it while I’m getting ready for the day. It takes me 1 minute to make it and it’s an excellent drink to start the day with.

Let me just tell you first that I’ve always been a huge fan of apple cider vinegar. I use it in all of my salad dressings, add it to most of the soups I drink and I would drink it straight from the bottle because I just love the taste and smell of it. Gio thinks it’s totally weird, but oh well!

Surprisingly Belle absolutely loves ACR too. Her favorite snack is cucumbers with apple cider vinegar and a little bit of salt. She would actually drink the leftover vinegar after she eats her cucumbers. :)

APPLE CIDER VINEGAR DETOX DRINK RECIPE

1-2 tbsp organic unfiltered apple cider vinegar

a large glass of water

dash of cinnamon

1-2 tbsp of freshly squeezed lemon or grapefruit

1-2 tbsp of honey or 2-3 drops of stevia (optional)

freshly grated ginger (optional)

Directions: Super easy, just mix everything in a large mason jar and drink it first thing in the morning or right before you go to sleep.

I don’t usually add the honey because I don’t like drinking anything sweet in the morning. It’s kind of weird because I have a huge sweet tooth, but early in the morning, I don’t really feel like adding any sweetness to my drinks. You can either do some raw unfiltered honey or a few drops of your favorite stevia.
