How do you dry your hair? Do you use a regular towel? And do you know why microfiber towels are great for your hair?
In the past, when I finished washing my hair, I would wrap it in a regular towel to dry. Little did I know, how much damage a regular towel can cause to my hair. The cotton in it is too harsh and can cause breakage, dizziness, and split ends. On top of that, a regular towel is not that great at absorbing moisture.
Funny thing is I heard about microfiber towels years ago, but for some reason, I didn’t believe I will notice much of a difference. I’ve always had thick hair and drying it takes a long time. I thought, I just have to deal with it.
Then a couple of months ago, I decided to give it a try. I bought a microfiber towel and I definitely noticed a difference. It really does a wonderful job of absorbing moisture and reducing frizziness.
WHY MICROFIBER TOWELS ARE GREAT FOR YOUR HAIR?
The microfibers in a microfiber towel absorb four times more moisture than a regular towel. It also helps with frizziness and reduces breakage.
HOW TO USE IT:
After I wash my hair, I gently squeeze out the excess water, put on a leave-in conditioner and I wrap my hair in my microfiber towel. No need to rub it, if anything avoid rubbing your hair at all times, as it can easily cause breakage.
Did you know why microfiber towels are great for your hair and are you using one?
