Kill Some Time With These 5 Awesome Podcasts

October 30, 2016

Let’s talk about a few awesome podcasts today. If you haven’t started listening to podcasts, it’s about time to get on board.

I found out about podcasts about 3-4 years ago, and it was an excellent way to pass the time at my old job. I worked on a computer all day, and I rarely had to communicate with others. Introvert much? Yep. Working on a computer can be quite tedious especially if you are doing the same thing every day. After a while, my brain shuts down, and I desperately needed to entertain myself with something.

Podcasts were a great way to learn new things, catch up with news, or listen to some great stories or interviews. I listen to podcasts while I’m editing pictures, cleaning, working out, or commuting. So pretty much all of the time.

Kill some time with these 5 awesome podcasts

All right, today I’m going to share with you a few awesome podcasts. Check out my picks below…

1. The Skinny Confidential Him&Her

by Lauryn Evarts and her soon to be husband Michael Bosstick. During the podcast, the hosts are answering all sorts of questions and topics from both a female and male perspective, and provide their listeners with the Tip of the Day, which is my favorite part of their podcast.

2. In the Dark

For those of you that have been listening to Serial and you’re looking for another good crime podcast, I present to you “In the Dark”. It’s the story of Jacob Wetterling, a child that was abducted 27 years ago and how law enforcement mishandled this case in the first most crucial hours when the abduction happened.

3. This American Life

Probably the most popular podcast out there. It’s all about true stories from everyday people. It’s quite engaging and easy to get addicted to.

4. The Lively Show

The Lively Show covers a variety of different topics from food and wellness to money, design, and career. It also covers motherhood, relationships, and style so there is a little something for everyone.

5. The Nutrition Diva

I like it because it is short and to the point. Episodes are 10min or less, and it gives you easy and straightforward tips on how to eat better.
