Okay, let’s talk hats. I created a fall hat guide today because I feel like hats are the key accessory this season. They are stylish and elevate any look.
When it comes to purchasing hats, I go for a neutral color. Surprise! Not exactly, I’ve talked about neutrals on the blog before and you guys know that I’m a huge fan. They are versatile and that’s something I love. So, I choose them for my clothes and accessories as well.
With so many options out there right now, I kind of wish I can get one hat from each style. However, so far I purchased a wool beret, and a fisherman’s cap both in black. They’d go great with my leather jacket which I wear pretty much every day in fall. Speaking of fall, I’m still patiently waiting for it to come here to California. It’s still 28 degrees weather during the day.
So because of the weather, I’ve only worn the fisherman’s cap a few times during the night when it is a bit chilly. I might have to wait another month to be able to wear a wool beret.
But aren’t wool berets so French? I had to add them to the fall hat guide. When I’m scrolling through Instagram I will see at least one picture of a girl sitting at a French cafe, drinking a cup of coffee, with a croissant on the side and wearing a cute outfit with a beret. And if French girls wear berets, count me in.
Next on my list is a full brim hat. I’ve seen girls wear them with a simple white tee, jeans, and fall boots. It looks effortless but stylish at the same time. And like I said anyone can pull off that look.
