Binge Worthy TV Shows You’ll Want To Watch

February 23, 2020
Binge worthy TV shows

These days my Friday nights look a lot like this – a glass of wine, maybe some cheese, comfy clothes, and a few binge worthy TV shows to watch. I love getting into a good show, and when I do, I can’t stop until I have finished all the available episodes. My biggest frustration is when I find something I like but it has just started, and I have to wait until the next week to see another episode. How frustrating! A whole week!

Personally, I prefer shows that have already ended so I can watch the whole season at my convenience. However, that means that everyone has already seen it and I’m late to the game. Oh, well!

Below I’m sharing what I think are the best tv shows to binge-watch when you want to stay home and relax.

Best TV Shows to Binge Watch

The Morning Show (Apple TV +)

This show is the main reason I got Apple TV+. The cast (Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Steve Carell) and acting are amazing. Great story too!

YOU (Netflix)

When I finished the 1st season of YOU, I couldn’t wait for the next one to come out. Now I’m waiting patiently for season 3. This show is addicting and if you haven’t seen it, you should. It’s a bit creepy, very addicting, and the main character, who is a stalker is kind of likable.

Schitt’s Creek (Netflix)

I didn’t think I will like it, but this show is light and fun. Perfect for watching when you want to laugh.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (Amazon Prime Video)

I could watch this show just for the costumes. But the story is also intriguing. It’s about a housewife in the 50s that wants to become a stand-up comedian.

Scandal (Netflix)

Ah, Scandal! I was a bit disappointed that it ended, but it’s one of these shows I have no problem rewatching. Kerry Washington is fantastic in it.

Homeland (Showtime)

Gio and I started watching Homeland together. If it weren’t for him, I probably would have never chosen to watch it. But I’m so glad I did. This is such a great show and very intense. Season 8 just started, and I can’t wait to start it!

Servant (Apple TV+)

It’s a bit confusing at first because you can’t explain the things that are happening. It’s also a bit scary, which is not my type of show but I still liked it a lot.

Imposters (Netflix)

Too bad this show got canceled after two seasons. Imposters follow a con woman, who gets in relationships with men and women and leaves them used and robbed.

Billions (HBO)

Money, drama, and politics. Not my typical recommendation, but this show is just terrific. It follows the story of a US attorney that wants to take down billionaire Bobby Axelrod.

Gilmore Girls (Netflix)

This is one of my favorite shows. I watched it years ago when I first came to the US. Then a couple of years back, Belle and I rewatched all the seasons. I love the strong mother-daughter relationship between Lorelai Gilmore and Rory.

Gossip Girl (Netflix)

It is a teen drama, but it’s a classic TV show, and I’d watch it all over again just because of the outfits in this show.

The Politician (Netflix)

The Politician is about a wealthy high school student who knew he wanted to become the president of the United States ever since he was seven years old. And guess what? Gwyneth Paltrow stars in it.

Younger (Hulu)

Younger is about a newly single woman in her 40s that lies about her age to get a job in publishing in New York. Such a fun show to watch!

Handmaid’s Tale (Hulu)

This show is based on Margaret Atwood‘s best selling novel. I hated watching it because of the way women are treated in this show, but I love how determined some of these women are to look for a way to survive the impossible life in Gilead.

Big Little Lies (HBO)

Great cast, think Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon and Meryl Streep (in season 2). This show should honestly probably go to the top of this list.
