A stay at spa Hotel Belchin Garden, Bulgaria

I have to admit, I was born and raised in Bulgaria but I’ve never been to Belchin before. It’s a very small village with not a lot to see in it. When I found out we’re going to spend a weekend there I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. But after we arrived for a stay at Spa Hotel Belchin Garden I was pleasantly surprised. Belchin is only around 50 km (31 miles) from Sofia which makes it a preferred destination for many people looking to spend the weekend away from home without going too far. The family-friendly hotel is not too big and it’s surrounded by gorgeous green trees.

The check-in starts at 2 pm which was perfect. We left Sofia right after lunch and we arrived at the exact time. Right after we checked in, we changed into our bathing suits and went straight to the spa. The hotel has an indoor and two outdoor pools (one of them is filled with warm water) and all the pools are filled with mineral water. There’s also a gym, tennis court, spa, hot tub, sauna, and a steam room. My daughter was pretty excited to go to the pools but she had a quite good time at the children’s playground as well.

In the evening we had a lovely dinner at the restaurant at the hotel, the staff was really friendly and the food was delicious. For those of you that like to continue the night after dinner, there is a bar and a nightclub right inside the hotel. Talk to me about convenience! :)

The hotel offers great weekend and holiday deals. Keep in mind that pets are not allowed in the hotel and check out is at 12:00. If you want to book your stay, click here.

Below I’m sharing some gorgeous pictures from our relaxed weekend at Spa Hotel Belchin Garden in Bulgaria.

  1. What a lovely place! It’s so funny how we can be born and raised somewhere and never have visited local venues. I’m that way all the time – and there can be so much in our own backyards! We just have to remember to look. :)
